Ticket #1588789. Ticket forwarded to Neighborhood Services for follow-up. The request will be dispatched for inspection, the process for resolution is as follows:
Pictures will be taken of the violation and notices will be sent to the property owner (thirty business days).
Property owners will have a specified time (twenty business days) to comply with the violation notice. Once the compliance period is over, a re-inspection of the property will occur (ten business days).
If the owner complies with the notice (cleans the vacant lot), no work will be performed by the City and the case will be closed.
If the owner does not comply, a City crew will be assigned to clean the property (thirty business days) and the property owner will be billed for all costs associated with the clean up.
This process may take up to 90 days from the initial request to the date of the clean up, possibly longer in the summer months.
After the timeframe of your request has passed, you can check the status of your ticket by calling 311 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. Just give us the ticket number and we can check it for you. You can also go online to www.phila.gov/philly311 and track your request. Thank you. (mb)

I have opened several 311 tickets on this same lot beginning in December of 2010 and the trash is still there.
Firts I put it in as dumping (because I witnessed the dumping)but because the trash wasn't on the street, the Streets Dept. ignored it and said it wasn't their job to clean it up. Then I was told I had to wait 6 months before I could put in another ticket for the same issue. Then I put in a ticket for vacant lost clean up. That most recent ticket number was: 1520334
Really, this is getting ridiculous. How many tickets does a single issue need to have before something gets done?
Sending a citation to the property owner is a waste of time. There is no house on the property and the BRT has the property address listed as the owner's mailing address. Where will you send the citation? To a vacant lot?
Not to mention that the property owner isn't the one responsible for the dumping.
The dumping was done by the construction crews at 1206 S. 16th Street. I also called 911 while the dumping was occurring but nothing was ever done.
Its been 6 months this this issue was reported. It is beyond frustrating at this point. I'm about to hire a private company to come clean it up and then send the bill to the city.
